Double diaphragm air-operated pumps can be used for a number of fluid applications with low to medium flow rates, including dosing, spraying, transferring, and distribution. Pump wetted parts can be used in corrosive settings and are compatible with even the most abrasive fluids. Polypropylene is used to construct the air motor, including the air directional valve and air chamber coverings. In potentially explosive environments (Ex II2 GD IIB/IIC 95 °C), this model of pump is fully groundable and ATEX certified. Strong acids, some of which are above room temperature, and alkalis are both suitable for this pump. Avoid using concentrated nitric acid or some strong alkalis.
